Acer palmatum
Suited for small gardens, entrance beds and container compositions, where a reduced-scale specimen with strong seasonal colour makes all the difference.
A slow-growing dwarf cultivar, with a low, rounded habit that rarely exceeds 1.5 to 2 metres in height in multi-stem form. Spring growth emerges in vivid, intense red, softening to green through summer before colouring again in orange tones in autumn. It prefers part shade, protected from harsh afternoon sun, and fertile, well-drained soil with regular watering.
